Video: What is the Laboratory Roll-to-Roll Coater?
The Laboratory Roll-to-Roll Coater is a compact, high-precision lab coater that transforms the way thin functional films are processed. It offers modular customization to fit different needs, scalable efficiency for small-scale production, and a user-friendly design with easy-to-remove components. Ideal for applications like batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells, it allows you to customize a system that’s perfect for your needs.
Roll-to-Roll Academy
The Roll-to-Roll Academy aims to educate and engage people, enabling them to explore the potential of R2R applications in their respective field of technology, like next-gen batteries, fuel cells, printed solar, and beyond.
What Are Supercapacitors?
Supercapacitors, also known as ultra-capacitors or electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs), are energy storage devices that have a higher capacitance than traditional capacitors.
How to Select the Right Slot-Die Head for Your Coating Application
Selecting the appropriate slot-die head is crucial for optimizing the performance of your coating processes in various applications.
How Does Slot-die Coating Work?
Slot-die coating is a manufacturing technique for applying a thin liquid layer onto a substrate. It works by controlling the flow of liquid through a narrow slot in the slot-die head, positioned close to the substrate. This setup creates a stable "liquid curtain" or meniscus between the slot-die head and the substrate. As the substrate or slot-die head moves, ink from the meniscus is deposited onto the substrate, forming a thin wet film. The coating thickness is regulated by precisely controlling the substrate speed and liquid flow.
