Page content:infinityPV offers a full Stack Pack solution. Here you will get all the materials needed in order to fabricate your own flexible polymer solar cells from the laboratory scale to full industrial scale. We have prepared the Stack Pack so that the amount of substrate matches the amount of all the other components. Together with the processing guidelines, the Stack Pack is perfect for people, universities or companies starting up fabrication or testing of readily scalable polymer solar cells. The materials in the Stack Pack are developed for processing using slot-die/ blade/knife coating or flexographic/screen printing applying roll coaters or flatbed printers.

Included in Stack Pack
Flextrode (Flextrode) is an electron-accepting flexible substrate for inverted polymer solar cells prepared on polyester foil with 8 stripes each with a 10 mm stripe pattern. You can easily cut and divide the Flextrode substrate so it fits your need. It is possible to fabricate single cells as well as modules with up to 8 subcells giving an active area of approximately 50 cm2.
Production Ink (Active inks) is the active component in the absorption of the incoming light. The ink is special developed for flexible inverted devices using either slot-die or blade/knife coating. The inks are preformulated from infintyPV and are offered in several different versions. Choice between PI-1, PI-2, PI-3, PI-4, PI-5 and PI-6, see link for standard photovoltaic properties of each ink.
Hole conductor comes preformulated and ready to use. As for the Production Ink this material is also optimized for inverted devices applying slot-die or blade/knife as the coating techniques. The formulation is easy to apply, offers high solvent resistances and provides devices with high operational stability.
Back electrode comes as a preformulted paste perfect for flexographic printing and screen printing.
Electrical switching of polymer solar cells. You might need to activate the pristine solar cell before use by switching or shunt burning. Coating equipment: Slot-die coating heads designed for low volume slot-die coating of inks onto a substrate. It allows for coating of many tightly spaced stripes of material at the same time and is ideal for fabrication of a multilayer solar cell with stripes of different materials layered on top of each other. The coating head has a very small dead volume allowing very small quantities of ink to be applied and also enabling a very accurate control of the wet and dry thickness of the coated film. The ink is fed into the coating head by a syringe pump whereby all the ink is coated with no loss. The coating head can be mounted on ex.: infinityPV TR2R, infinityPV miniR2R, Erichsen Coatmasters and also 3D printers. They are comprised of stainless steel parts and we offer solutions for 10 mm stripes, 13 mm stripes, and 4 x 10 mm stripes, perfect for preparing test modules.
