infinityPV ApS offers a broad range of light beam induced current (LBIC) systems. We cover from the very large (square meter sized imaging areas) industrial LBIC to our professional series (the economy LBIC) that allows careful analysis over 300 x 300 mm2 with multiple wavelengths, contactless imaging, EQE mapping and light biasing.
With the academic LBIC we now have a system available at low budget that packs the same power as our industrial line with a small imaging area. The standard unit offers fast imaging of single junctions and modules over an area of 50 x 50 mm2. The scanning area can be extended up to 100 x 85 mm2. The systems compact size means that it is easy to ship and install in almost any laboratory environment and allow you to carefully image the active areas of newly printed solar cells or LEDs (through reverse action of the LED). You establish the exact active area for accurate power conversion efficiency calculations and image defects that might stem from your printing method or impurities in your process. Often even small barriers to charge carrier transport is directly visible in the LBIC images and it is an indispensable tool in any upscaling or device development. The academic LBIC is offered at a very competitive budget. Common to all the products in the infinityPV academic research laboratory line is that they have a small foot-print and present an open platform that is easily adaptable to all the great experiments that have not been carried out yet. You can fit them almost everywhere in the lab, in the fume cupboard, on the bench and in the glovebox.
